In 1997, Greg Moore became the youngest winner in CART history when, one month and ten days after his 22nd birthday, he won at the Milwaukee Mile, then won again the following week at Detroit.

The Canadian's entire CART career was with with Gerry Forsythe's Player's team. At the 1999 Detroit race, he announced he would move on to Team Penske for the 2000 CART FedEx season. Tragically, Greg was killed in an accident at the final race of the 1999 season at Fontana, California.

These are some pictures I took of Greg during the '99 season. His fun-loving personality and racing talent made him a favorite subject of mine. I'll miss him.
